Eye on the Checks, year 2002, coloured cardboard on 330 wood square, cm 150x100
The Eye on the Checks work is a woman’s eye. The installation was made by gluing 330 checks of cardboard onto the same number of 1 cm-thick wooden squares. In turn, these are glued onto two wooden panels placed side by side. This work is the point at which the broken-down images that we can see in the first installations and the subsequent puzzle of photos meet. The same woman’s eye can be seen in the Puzzle of Photos Eye 3.
